Thanks for the comment Jeff. I think you’re absolutely right in praising the value of the Classic Vibe series. They’re great instruments out of the box, and with modest upgrades, they easily go toe-to-toe with instruments that sell for hundreds of dollars more.

Although I had read hundreds of reviews online, almost every one extremely favorable, I still wasn’t quite prepared for the quality instrument I received.

My last Telecaster purchase was an American-made guitar, and my Classic Vibe is at least as good, all things considered (including price). I’m honestly considering buying a second one. At that price, especially, I don’t believe I would ever regret the purchase. Maybe I’ll buy a hundred, and some ‘Fender’ decals……

It’s not a fantastic guitar “for a Squier,” it’s just a fantastic guitar!

It is my go-to guitar.
My main criticism is that four or five frets were high and there was a little fret-buzz. After leveling them, adjusting the truss rod and intonation, its playablility is even better.
I also carefully sanded the back of the neck and that too has noticeably improved its playablility

If you want a better Tele, you can certainly get one, but it becomes a case of diminishing returns. You can spend a LOT of money chasing that holy grail of tone.
